2. • Im going to take my pictures and try
and make them look like urban kind
of theme images so I will take lots
of images of buildings, a
photographer that has inspired me
to do this is Andrew Brooks he is
an urban photographer and takes
lots of pictures in Manchester. He
edits his photos a lot on photo shop
to give them a more urban kind of
feel so I'm going to try and do this
to.

3. Salford Quays mood board

4. • I am going to try and take
at least 50 + pictures so I
have a wide choice of
images to choose from
when I have to pick my final
ones. I will mainly be taking
pictures of the interesting
buildings that are at the
quays to keep to the urban
theme photographs that I
want to create. I want to try
and make the pictures
bright and vibrant and city
like.

5. • I have chosen to take pictures at
Salford Quays because of the
amount of buildings that they
have there. Some of the
buildings are interestingly
shaped which will help with the
urban theme im going for there
are also a lot of high street
lamps and bridges and it is well
lit up at night to give me my
bright images that I want.
Andrew Brooks has given me
these ideas.

8. Techniques that will be used
• I am planning to use rule of thirds to
capture the whole surrounding
areas. I will be using flash a lot to
make my pictures brighter and more
vibrant

• Salford quay is near the end of the
Manchester ship canal it became
one of the first and largest urban
regeneration projects in the uk.
