Presentation by Carnac Group
How new technologies continue to impact and optimise our small and large businesses.
In this presentation, we are reviewing three trends:
- Social Collaboration which will reduce teh usage of emails in businesses but also provide a tangible platform for knowledge management, product development but also for Human Resources to manage talents and skilss.
- 3D printing is not a new technology as in has been introduced in the early 80s but it becomes more accessible. Businesses are investing heavily in 3D printing for prototyping but also for large scale manufacturing operations.
- Finally, we will look at the world of business applications and how small apps will become the new norm.

What does it mean for businesses?
• Large integrated ERPs will disappear within
20 years and be replaced by smaller but
more specialised Apps.
• Businesses will pay for what they need as
opposed to pay for a full package. The total
COO for a total solution will increase
significantly.
• The model for applications is based on SaaS.
COO over long periods will increase.
