Software
tools
Finite Improbability Generator (FIG): software analysis tool developed during my PhD
studies, which uses importance splitting techniques to perform rare event simulation. The
importance function can be automatically and compositionally derived from the model and
properties analyzed, which can be specified either in Input/Output Stochastic Automata
syntax or in the JANI Specification format.
Bluemoon: prototype developed during my PhD studies which uses RESTART to efficiently
simulate rare events. The importance function can be automatically derived from the model
and properties analyzed, which must be a continuous or discrete time Markov chain described
in the syntax of PRISM.
