2. Clyde Henry Productions is a Canadian film,
stop-motion animation, puppetry and illustration
production involving two artists, Chris Lavis
and Maciek Szczerbowski.

3. Clyde Henry is the Production company responsible
for the short stop-motion film ‘Madame Tutli-
Putli’, which is the work this presentation will be
focusing on.

4. ‘Madame Tutli-Putli’ is a 2007 stop motion-animated short
film in which a woman boards a train, and has to escape
when whilst aboard, she observes train-robbers killing a
man and stealing his kidneys.

6. Both Maciek Szczerbowski and Chris Lavis take on
various roles in Clyde Henry Productions, ranging
through the entire length of their productions.
They both co-directed ‘Madame Tutli Putli’ and did the same for the
short film, ‘Higglety Pigglety Pop! or There Must Be More to Life’
(2010).

‘Madame Tutli-Putli’ was created using stop motion puppets with recorded film
of human eye movement digitally edited onto the puppet during post-production.

called The Untold Tales of Yuri Gagarin.
Clyde Henry Productions started in 1999 when the pair conceived the
plot of ’Madame Tutli-Putli’ and started trying to get it developed
into a short film.
