Weight gain, hypertension, skin alterations, myopathy, and hirsutism were the most frequent symptoms reported in the ERCUSYN database, affecting 81%, 75%, 72%, 67%, and 58% of patients respectively. Cushing's syndrome has a significant negative impact on health-related quality of life, with physical and psychosocial limitations persisting even after long-term biochemical cure. Several quality of life measures like the Visual Analog Scale of the EuroQoL and physical symptoms like sleep, pain, and wound healing showed improvement in the postoperative period, though memory issues did not significantly change.
