We have come a long way from where we were just a few short years ago.
The National Disaster Recovery Framework outlines a concept of having Recovery Support Functions. Similar to Emergency Support Functions, these 20 RSFs continue the work that was started with the ESFs
With this system, instead of being shoehorned into ESF 6, Each of the functions that it will take to recover fully is given a space of its own. Many of the ESFs correlate directly to the corresponding RSF, and some don’t.
This come from our National VOAD Partners collaborating with professors from Louisiana State University.
