WorldRanking: Änghagas SM-kval in Everöd (SE) cancelled
The WorldRanking Event Änghagas SM-kval organised by Änghaga Islandshästar in
Everöd (SE) has been cancelled. The event was planned to take place 15 June 2013.
FEIF Education Seminar, 6-8 Sep 2013 in Uppsala
The organisers of the FEIF Education Seminar, 6-8 Sep 2013 in Uppsala, Sweden are
happy to confirm that there is a strong interest for the event, and that a good number of
qualified instructors and sport judges have already registered. As of 15th of May, the
event is also open to future level 1 instructors who are currently undergoing training, or
plan to do so in the near future. The event will take place at the beautiful Agersta
Icelandic Centre near Uppsala, see http://www.agersta.com . We are delighted to
welcome as our instructors such well-known riders and teachers as Mette Manseth,
Stian Pedersen and Magnus Skulasson, and it is very important to the organisers that
there will be plenty of time for discussion. Other highlights at the seminar include an
introduction to the research on the 'tölt gene', and a demonstration on the new
competition class 'töltfimi' or 'Tölt in Harmony'. For more information download the

WorldRanking: Midur regional in Boden (SE) cancelled
The WorldRanking Event Midur regional organised by Midur in Boden (SE) has been
cancelled. The event was planned to take place 7-8 September 2013.
EHN Newsletter May 2013
EHN, the European Horse Network, has published its May 2013 newsletter. The
newsletter contains information about activities in the European horse world (including
Icelandic horses) and about contacts between EHN and members of the European
Parliament. Current topics related to European poltics are: the impact of the current
economic situation on horses, the EU Animal Welfare Strategy and the benefits for
horses, the transport of high health horses, the impact of the horse meat scandal. The
aim of EHN is to promote the development of the horse sector in Europe and to act as a
platform for the horse industry in relation to European institutions and media. FEIF is
one of the founding members of EHN.
WorldRanking: Stenholmen regional sommar in Linköping (SE) cancelled
The WorldRanking Event Stenholmen regional sommar organised by Stenholmen
Islandshästcenter in Linköping (SE) has been cancelled. The event was planned to take
place 14-16 June 2013.
