2. In this project I have used a lot of different technology to achieve my final outcome and I
think that is what made it work. In my preliminary we used a Panasonic film camera, this is a
cheap camera for what it does but when you zoom on objects then the view becomes
distorted. When we used it we had to remember that the zoom made the picture distorted.
After we filmed then we took our preliminary piece onto the Mac Book computers to use
IMovie, this is a free software that comes on any Mach and is rather basic and limited in what
it can do, but creating sound on this was a real problem so we used garage band. This
allowed us to create music on top of our movie as we would import our finish production in.
This was difficult to use but once we got to hands with it, it started to become less complex.
3. In our final piece we used the program final cut which is used in the industry
and is a great software to use. I think this is important too use as it gave a
chance to get to grips with a professional program. This makes our piece
better as the software used was more precise and accurate giving us a better
final piece. This program also allowed us to make sound in our piece, which
meant we didn’t have to import our files onto another program just to edit it.
