BIO - BRYAN RUTBERG
Principal, 3C Communications
Bryan Rutberg is the founder and owner of Seattle-based
communications firm 3C Communications. His work and his passion
is connecting leaders and their organizations to their most important
audiences – customers, partners, investors, and employees – in print,
online, and in person. He works with clients ranging from corporate
executives to entrepreneurs and authors to develop clear, compelling
messages, and deliver them with passion and skill. He likes working
with a team to create a messaging framework and communications
plan, and coaching individuals and small groups on great public
speaking skills.
Bryan’s corporate experience includes management and leadership in tech giants Hewlett-
Packard and Microsoft, and global strategy consulting firm McKinsey & Company. He has
worked in sales, marketing, and alliance management roles, and moved into communications full
time and began coaching others as the Director of Microsoft’s highly recognized Executive
Briefing Center from 2007-10. He honed his skills with senior leaders as Executive
Communications Director for a Microsoft Corporate VP in 2010-11, and in 2011 joined AG
Consulting Partners, starting their Communications Practice to complement their Strategy and
Project Management businesses.
Bryan is a graduate of Georgetown University and earned his Master’s in Business
Administration from the Kenan-Flagler School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
When not working, Bryan volunteers, including currently serving as President of the Board of
Trustees of Temple Beth Am in Seattle. He relaxes by reading political, sports, and business
material; enjoying his Queen Anne neighborhood with his wife, children, and dogs; and
celebrating sunny Seattle days driving his convertible and snowy Pacific Northwest days skiing.
