Student must attend information session
with parent/guardian
Students must complete and turn in the
top half of the attendance record during
the last session tonight
Students will use the Registration Key
found on the bottom half of the attendance
record to access the online application.
Student may only apply to one career
academy

20. MCVSD Application Procedures
The Registration Keys are non-
transferable and if the code used does not
belong to the applicant who received it, the
applications of all parties involved will be
rejected.
Student will need school
counselor/principal email address
Counselor/Principal will receive an email
with username and password
School transcript and counselor/principal
form online and submitted by the school
21. MCVSD Application Reminders
Eighth grade students will receive a
registration form at the last scheduled
session.
It is your responsibility fill out the
registration form and to turn it in.
It is the record of attendance
Students in attendance who are not in eighth
grade must attend another open house as
an eighth grade student.
22. Application Deadlines
Deadline for Applications:
December 14, 2012
Entrance Exam:
January 19, 2013
Photo ID will be needed at testing:
Passport or school ID are acceptable
Notification- Early to Mid March 2013
23. Acceptance Methodology
Criteria for acceptance
Academic Grades The highest scoring qualified
7th grade - 15 pts. applicant from each
8th grade - 15 pts. school district
will be offered a position.
Minimum 75 out of 100 possible
Admissions Exam points is the cutoff.
Math - 35 pts.
Reading Comprehension - 35 pts.
