2. eamNorwaClass One is the worlds fastest sport on water, and it´s about
to get more and more attention world wide. It is seen by 400 million
people in more than 120 countries. In other words, it is a sport that
makes their sponsors visible world wide and adds a high class image
to their product.
In addition to TV-coverage to more than 120 countries in prime time,
each event attracts thousands of spectators. For a small country like
Norway, with its idyllic little town Arendal, this event attracts more
than 150.000 visitors.
People with beyond average means are attracted to this sport and
its event.
The Class One event creates an exciting international atmosphere,
as there are teams from all over the world and the races are per-
formed in beautiful places.
Class One can guarantee a minimum of 10 teams for each race,
but because of its popularity, there are prospectives of several new
teams making their presence in the next few years. In other words,
Class One is about to become a much more visible sport in the fu-
ture.
If you take on a winning
team, the result will be a
success
3. Team Norway shall contribute to carry on the Norwegian suc-
cess. With a team different from others and untypical for this
sport to be.
One of the biggest talents in Class One is the Norwegian pilot
Kolbjørn Selmer. A young man who has already received a lot
of attention, in his occupation as a farmer. This likeable young
man of nearly two meters, creates ”waves” with his competen-
cy at sea. The most famous racer within this sport, Bjørn Rune
Gjelsten, has contributed and stimulated Selmer to take on this
sport giving everything he can. He says, ”Selmer is the greatest
talent this sport has ever seen.”
Today Selmer is the pilot of the Norwegian/Italian team Veneta
Marina. But neither the boat nor the team around him is in the
spirit of Selmer. ”You can´t win if everything is not perfect”,
Selmer says. ”If I am going to continue, I have to be in control
of every detail, or I will just have to dedicate my time to some-
thing else.”
Previously Norway has shown great success in Class One, with
several individual victories and several in the Grand Prix. This
success has given the sport a lot of publicity and also to their
sponsors.
Norway is well known for its boat construction industry. The
technology and experience of their producers have made them
become well recognised world wide. Knowledge and tradition
and first class performers have to take the honour for the big
success Noway has gained in this sport.

Our story of success
4. eamNorwaKolbjørn Selmer has established a network to be able to carry on
with his dream; To be a winner of the Grand Prix Class One within
two to three years. He, and other people who know this sport, know
that he is a winner if he gets what he wants; the right boat and en-
gine, a good team and sponsors who will gain on his victories.
In addition to Team Norways´ way to the top, there is an established
marketing team who are going to use this story for all that it´s worth;
”The Fastest Farmer at Sea”.
There will be books written, a fanclub formed, dvd made and TV-
commentaries about him and his way to success. We will follow
Selmer on his way from the pigsty to the shipyard. We will watch his
chosen team – all winners.
If you want the best, it costs. However, the basic in our success story
are the people behind Team Norway. If Kolbjørn Selmer and his team
get the finances they´ll need, they will make sure that the sponsoring
will become a good investment.
The finances will cover the following:
1. Buy a boat for practise (spare boat). This boat exists today
2. The construction of a new boat, designed by first class
designers in this category
3. Training and practising
4. Running the team
5. Participating in the races. Inclusive VIP treatment for our
sponsors
6. Marketing
First year: 8.000.000 Euro
Following years: 5.000.000 Euro + an annual indexation increase of
5% against the previous year’s fee

Team Norway can give you a unique possibility to be profiled in one
of the most facinating and seen sports world wide. To participate in
a winning project is important, and for Team Norway it gives them a
big resposibility and satisfaction that they can give back to those that
have been by their side.
I am looking forward to set up an appointment with you, and to dis-
cuss deals and conditions in the nearest future.
Kind regards,
Per Jørgensen
