When I started school March 16, 2015, I was unaware of what I was getting
myself into. I was unsure of the results. I know how I used to be in high school, I never
showed up I was expelled after my 10th grade year and not going anywhere fast. I have
learned quite a bit in this short time of being here and I have enjoyed my time so far.
Early in the semester we had to do an assignment on our individual personality types.
That particular assignment made me realize new things about myself I never knew
existed. My personality type is an ESTJ. Maybe referred to as “The Guardian” or “The
Overseer”.
We basically live in a world of facts. We need concrete information to make a
logical and realistic decision. We also have a clear understanding of our morals and
beliefs and stand behind them 100%. This is a short paragraph about ETSJ’s I read
about. “They can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because they have such
strongly held beliefs about the job getting done right. ESTJ’s are likely to express
themselves without reserve if they feel someone isn't meeting their standards. But at
least their expressions can be taken at face-value, because ESTJ’s are straight-forward
and honest”. Hard workers and dedicated to being successful.
Some of my interests outside of school are, hanging out with my two kids Alexis
and Cameron, playing sports, basketball, football and baseball. I like to draw
occasionally also. When I was in the 5th grade the first character I drew was Sonic the
Hedgehog. I picked up the hobby ever since. On weekends my family and I have

barbeques and just spend quality time together. When I graduate school, my goal is to
have a career with IBM and continue on part time at ITT-Tech pursing my bachelor’s
degree in Cyber Security. I used to want to be an architect when I was younger but
picked up an interest in computers.
As my personality suggests, when I start a project I’m very committed. When I
start something I don’t finish until the task is finished. When I’m assigned a task of any
kind easy or complicated I don’t get nervous or anxious, I tackle it head on. I can be
counted on to complete any task on time without any limitations or excuses. Words that
describe me would be hard working, punctual, organized, and disciplined to name a
few. One of my favorite quotes is by Frank Wilczek. It says “If you don't make mistakes,
you're not working on hard enough problems. And that's a big mistake”.
My attitude is the same all the time, I may not have a lot to say at any given
moment, I’m not very outspoken or obnoxious in a social setting but in a smaller group
or with family I’m a little more outgoing. I like to make people laugh and eat good food.
My attitude to sum it up would be calm, and relaxed. I try not to let as much bother me
as in past years. I have been considered a “go getter” and I don’t except no for an
answer. For example, if a job doesn’t select me the first time I just move on to the next. I
don’t like to dwell on the bad. I try to stay optimistic about most things and for the most
part I’m easy to get along with.

That was a very short summary about me. You have read some of my goals and
interests and even some flaws. There is plenty more back story that I will continue to
add, as I continue with my education. I hope you enjoyed. Thank you for reading.
