La classe moyenne est en cours d’émergence dans de nombreux pays
du continent mais à un pouvoir d’achat qui reste faible. Il faut cibler
les CSP++ uniquement.
La classe moyenne supérieure s’enrichit elle très vite. Au Ghana plus
d’1% de la population a des revenus supérieurs à 75000 USD/an.*
Hors Afrique du Sud, le Maroc, le Ghana, le Nigéria, la Tunisie et le
Gabon ont les classes moyennes possédant les plus gros revenus.*

De nouveaux modes de consommation
La consommation est perçue comme un déterminant social.
« Je consomme tel produit donc je suis quelqu’un d’important»
Le bouche à oreille est le principal vecteur pour amener un particulier
à acheter un produit à forte valeur ajoutée.
Passage d’achats de première nécessité à des achats de confort
(véhicule, télévisions, voyages, …).
Un crédit très fort est accordé aux marques occidentales notamment
sur les produits Premium.

Un panier moyen en hausse
Les consommateurs n’hésitent pas à dépenser beaucoup.
Ex: au Ghana les dépenses mensuelles ont été multipliées
par 8 depuis 2006.
Les marques Luxe et Premium ont de plus en plus de
consommateurs sur le continent au point de s’y implanter
en propre, à l’image de Porsche.
