              1.   www.facebook.com – typically used for building relationships with consumers and acquiring feedback.
              2. www.twitter.com – a great platform for sharing your inbound marketing pieces (video, infographics, articles, etc…)
              3. www.plus.google.com – a budding platform, but still very important due to its unique SEO implications.
              4. www.linkedin.com – a great resource to increase your brand awareness among business professionals.
              5.   www.pinterest.com – not for everyone, but if you create great imagery pieces its an absolute must!

#6: Make Your Goal Known…                                  effective call-to-actions:

It’s your website. YOU are the “master of ceremonies.” Direct
your traffic to perform a specific task related to your campaign.
There’s no need to make them hunt for the desired conversion
page. Invite them to perform a transaction and make sure its
CLEAR by placing it above the fold.

CTA (call-to-action) as well as a poor example

CTA #2 is much more effective than CTA #1
because of the bright color and it’s basic
feature… resembling a “clickable” button.

CTA #1 blends in with the background and is
far less eye-catching.

Keep in mind that CTAs are meant to
STAND OUT. You never want to blend your
CTA for the sake aesthetics, or keeping with
your sleek, new design. Your CTA is the one
time you get to break all the rules.
