Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); reasonably
proficient with Excel and Access – have also done some Web Publishing. Very skilled at
technical and creative writing –
I have published Standard Operating Procedures, Training Guides, Disaster Response
Plans, Continuity of Operations Plans, and other materials relating directly to security, disaster
management and Command & Control environments. I have managed all aspects (equipment,
procedures, personnel) of a major command center and emergency operations center. I can
operate a wide variety of two-way radio systems and consoles, pager systems.
I have served as Computer Network Administrator, Computer Help Desk, and Computer
and Network Security with highly classified military computer networks.
I work well with children, especially middle-school and high school levels. I have
developed and presented Defensive Driving PowerPoint presentations for high school
Freshmen. Have served on Heart of America Council, Boy Scouts of America as the Security
Officer for the Disaster Recovery Team. Current term expires 31 Dec 2017.
