Choosing sources: Research Databases
Research Databases allow you to search through many online
scholarly publications with one search and therefore save you time.
While there are databases that are freely available online, others
charge money. Zuyd Library pays subscription fees so that
students can use some important databases.
Make sure you get familiar with research databases
as they will be an important part of your assignment research.

12. Besides browsing you can search Marketline Advantage by entering keywords.
You can search all research items or select a certain subject (e.g. countries).

14. The report appears full text on screen.
You can download each chapter and extract it to Word or PDF.
You can even extract the entire report to PDF format.

16. You can download graphs, tables and figures in the report separately and extract them to various formats,
so you can use them in your own presentations or assignments.

28. The Zuyd Library website e-source database gives access to the e-journal
databases.
Attention: you can’t search for articles and full text content in the e-source
database. If you want to search for full text content and journal articles, it is
necessary to use the search options of the individual e-journal databases.

As in nearly every major research database there is an advanced search
option to ´fine tune´ your search.
