Therefore: Using Social Media means that you are still NETWORKING, you’re just using a different forum. None of you need a lesson on how to network, but I want to give you a very simple networking strategy that you’ve probably never heard before. It’s very very simple, so that you can REMEMBER it. It’s not a huge list of tips. Just five parts to a regular plan that works for face to face business networking AND social networking.
I’m just going to give you this very quickly. Social NETWORKING success depends on your overall understanding of Networking, whether it’s online or in person. The same principles and activities apply. We’ll talk about each one as it relates to Social Media, OK? If all you do is remember to do SOMETHING that fits into one of these parts, you’ll start to put together an effective networking plan PLUS you’ll always know what do do next.
FYI the original Social Media Revolution video has over 2 million views. This is updated …

And your Facebook can tie in to your blog, any specialty sites for your industry or your cause.

Extremely annoying when people send me friend requests and I have NO idea who they are. I suspect many of them just want to sell me something.
