Context
■ Blood coagulates very easily and I need to take anti-coagulants in order to prevent it from
causing clots
■ The extent of blood coagulation is measured by a ratio called the International Normalized
ratio (INR).
■ The INR is calculated by the your own rate of blood coagulation over the average rate of
blood coagulation
■ The INR should normally be one. However, due to my condition, my INR should be between 2
and 3

maintained between 2.5 and 3.5
