Bayer is supporting research projects on treating, distributing, and finding new sources of water in cooperation with National Geographic due to increasing scarcity as the human population expands. This is one of 300 examples of Bayer demonstrating its commitment to corporate social responsibility by being active in 150 countries and investing €50 million annually in education, research, the environment, health, and social needs to help solve social problems and address global issues using its expertise and staff. Bayer aims to improve people's futures and became the first private partner of the United Nations Environment Programme to promote environmental protection among youth.
