GENERAL OVERVIEW
The 6-Month Master Class at Zen Masters, Inc. is designed for teacher enthusiasts’ ages of 17 and older that wish to pursue a
role as a Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts Instructor. Our program is geared towards developing Martial Artists with a wide range
of technical skills and artistic sensibility, and preparing them for the vast range tournament and teaching opportunities
available to them in today’s martial arts field. Our martial 6-month master program will lead to Martial Arts employment in
one of our programs.
Teaching and inspiring instructors is a core component of our school’s initiative to provide a holistic approach to learning for
all members in our community. At our school we focus on the development of mental and physical self-defense through
increasing our practitioner’s mental awareness, confidence, social and emotional development.
Under the direction of our school’s 8th-Degree Martial Arts Master, who has practiced numerous styles for over 40 years, the
paid master class students will learn and teach Tae Kwon Do (TKD) lessons for students from ages 5 to adults.
6-MONTH MASTER CLASS REQUIREMENTS
• Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts Classes
• Arnis/Weaponry Lessons
• Jujitsu Lessons
• Instruct a Weekly Martial Arts Class
• Attend organization’s TKD exams, competitions, staff meetings and special events when requested
• Support the direction of the TKD Lead Master
ACCOUNTABILITY/MEASUREMENTS
1) Remain in classes for the duration of the program
2) Exemplary instruction of Martial Arts led classes
3) Prepare/develop Martial Arts students for quarterly pretests and examinations
4) Demonstrate leadership capabilities and organize creative Martial Arts routines
QUALIFICATIONS
• Ages 17 & Up
• Strong Communication Skills
• Experience in an Athletic Sport
• Sports Certifications is a plus
• Motivated, energetic, flexible, disciplined and pro-active
