- 13. John decides to unleash his inner child by registering for Day For Kids. John forms a team of friends & coworkers to fundraise, earn recognition and spread the word through their personal networks. At the event, John’s team competes in childhood activities with Club kids, while giving back to their local Club. John’s team proudly announces that their efforts raised awareness and dollars for Clubs to help kids achieve great futures. It’s simple: Adults pledge to play in our field day event. Teams compete to raise money & awareness. The dollars you raise support kids in your local community. John Q. - 14. Day For Kids At A Glance Event Overview A festival area for all attendees; music, giveaways and interactive games. Your team will be one of 100 teams to compete in field day activities. You will select a Team Captain, who will take charge of building your team. Fun field day activities to help your team members unleash their inner child Teams Festival Area Activity Zones • 12- person teams • We provide team resource kit & online fundraising tools • You ask friends & family to pledge their support • Dodge Ball • Freeze Tag • Tug of War • Living Battleship • Ridiculous Relay Winners get prizes donated back to the local Club. Support Teams Day for Kids will have special Support Team interactive areas for your friends and families to cheer you on. • Stage with a full program and performances • Snack, beverage & partner tents • Fun, interactive area • CEO dunk tank • Photo booth • Top notch viewing areas • Cheer materials • Photo stations © 2013 Boys & Girls Clubs of America. - It’s a national event that lets adults be kids again, while pledging to give kids back their childhood
- WE’RE CALLING ALL ADULTS through a nationwide field day, to experience the memories of childhood benefit the kids in their community. The concept is simple: adults pledge to play (and fundraise) in field day events across the country in honor of a child in their life. The dollars they raise help support kids in their local community and in areas of need nationally.
