Head Counselor, Assistant Director of Counseling & Member of Leadership Team at View Park High
School where the mission is to send students to the top 100 Universities. Primary role on the leadership
team is to make sure that all schoolprograms create academic growth, which expands students college
awareness and successfully execute our goals of having all students graduate fromhigh school while
simultaneously prepare each of them to be college ready

Worked independently for five years as the only School Counselor on campus: Conducted Academic,
Social/Emotional and Career guidance for over 600 students and consistently had over a 90 percent
graduation rate compared to LAUSD average of 66%
Excellent at creating a college going culture through increasing college knowledge. Conducted several
college tours which includes a 3 night 4 day trip to Northern California.
Recognized as a driven School Counselor who on a yearly basis had a POSSE scholar finalist 2 receive this
award which equals to over 500,000 combined
2011-2012 nominated for counselor of the year in Green Dot Public Schools. Finished in the top 3 of all
counselors in the district
