2. Why Spend Wisely – A Global Concern
• Nearly half of the world’s population – More than three billion
people – Live on less than USD$2.50 a day, with more than 1.3
Billion live in extreme poverty – Less than USD$1.25 a day.
• One billion children worldwide are living in poverty. According
to UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), 22,000 children die each day
due to poverty .
• Americans spend more on Halloween than the entire world
spends on malaria in a year.

3. Supporting The Poor
• Flipgive (www.flipgive.com/) is a website to
shop online and raise money for the poor.
• Over USD$4.6 Million have been raised.
