3. What is dyslexia?
Dyslexia is the common term for Developmental Reading
Disorder (DRD). It is a learning disorder that affects ones
reading ability despite normal intelligence.
In this condition, the brain does not recognise or process certain
symbols correctly.
Dyslexia is commonly seen in children aged between 4 – 7 years
and may affect about 5% - 10% of the population.

4. Tips To Manage Dyslexia:

Early intervention is important as the brain is still developing.

Educational support is needed for progress.

Studies prove the use a special font to promote reading.

Reduce stress and anxiety.

Psychological support should be provided if need be.
