2. Right to play
Kids in a country with poverty normally have to
do bonded labor, consequently many of the child’s
rights get denied such as the right to play.
Bonded Labor has prevented lots of other
children's rights such as access to food and
shelter. Bonded Labor has also results in the loss
of lots of the 5 necessities of life (Air, food,
water, clothes, & shelter)
Article 31
3. Right to chose your
Friends
Some adults don’t
let their children
be friends with
kids of different
skin colour skin or
beliefs than their
kids.
Article 15
4. Right to chose your
friends
An opportunity to follow this
right is to meet and make
new friends no matter who
they are.
5. Right to shelter
Many kids in poverty don’t really have good
a home. So some kids have to share a bed
with 5-6 people in it.
6. Right to shelter
Charities that help kids get a proper
shelter are: UNIFEC, ILO,
ST.JUDES
These organisations help kids get
access to shelter. They also help
kids to receive an education and
which could lead to a good degree
and a good job. As a result they get
a good income which will allow them
to afford decent accomodation.
7. Proving the Central Idea
Action can support or deny access to right
and opportunities
Key words:
Action-Something someone can do to make a
good difference on someone else
Rights-Something everyone has and the
government has to provide to reach our full
potential
8. Proving the central idea
I think that the central idea is true because
setting up St. Jude was an action and that
action supported more children’s rights.Also
on a not so positive note Children who have
to work in factories, (like Iqbal) their rights
get denied. However Iqbal took action and
escaped the carpet factory to try to free
the other kids.
