5. Delivering Nerves ! You will probably feel nervous at the start of your presentation. Try to relax and speak slowly and clearly. Audience Rapport – Try to engage your audience, be interested in your subject look around and make eye contact. Body Language – Stand when you deliver your presentation Voice Quality – Speak with a clear voice and don’t forget to vary your intonation Visual Aids – use your visual aids confidently Audience Reaction – be prepared to deal with all types of questions
6. Language Keep your language simple– use words and sentences that you are comfortable with. Clarity – Active verbs and concrete words are much clearer to understand than passive verbs and abstract concepts. Avoid jargon unless you are sure your audience is familiar with it.
