IMAGE
There will always be a main image on the album cover whether
it be illustrated or a photograph. However, Indie and Indie folk
usually have an abstract photo that mostly contains art work
rather than an pop album that would be stereotyped into having
a close up shot of the artist or band.

ARTIST NAME
There will be the artists named displayed on the front of the
album cover, and occasionally on the actual disk. This is so the
consumer knows who and what they are buying. Though the
artist name usually is in a different and unique font to again
make it sound to an audience.

ALBUM NAME
The album name is feature that will defiantly must be seen in
every album regardless of genre. It allows the consumer to
know what album it is of the artist they have/are purchasing. It’s
also important to have the album name seem to different to the
artist name. From analysis of indie folk they usually like to show
old looking fonts or fonts that will stand out and seem vintage
or different.
