Clinical presentation
Clinical presentation 
•The hallmark of EIB 
–Acute airflow obstruction (measured FEV1) 
–Peak rapidly 3-15 minutes after exercise stop 
–Remits spontaneously within 20 – 40 min 
(recovery time not prolonged)

•ATYPICAL presentation 
–Appear during prolonged exercise and recovery time often prolonged 
–Late-phase constriction:
