13. Every country would like to establish themselves
as a dominant superpower in the areas of
economics and politics. America’s superpower
status can be felt throughout the globe, and
countries overseas are often required to adapt
to American-style legislation that has been
imposed as a result of foreign policy decisions
made in America. Nevertheless, predictions
about America’s imminent global decline are
evident and the question remains as to which
country will become the next economic
superpower.
