8. Production, Promotion and Distribution Production We will be looking at the production of digital videos for and with mobile phones. We will look at specific examples of work produced with mobile phones and investigate how this is done and what effect these mobile devices have on your media output. The module will focus on mobile phones as both cameras and screens

Production, Promotion and Distribution Promotion This module will look at a variety of promotion techniques focusing on web 2.0 platforms and how they can be used to disseminate information We will look at how mobile videos are used both as promotional tools and how they fit into the patchwork of media productions and practices which produce convergence culture
10. Production, Promotion and Distribution Distribution We will look at a variety of techniques that you can employ to get your episodic content from finished production to viewing public This module will look at new forms of distribution in digital culture, how they are used and what effect they have on the products that we produce and consume.
11. What do we need to consider/what are the challenges? You need to produce a narrative which works across 4 separate episodes, this narrative needs to be delivered via and will be marked on 4 separate occasions. You have a staggered deadline across the module and video content needs to be delivered on these dates. Episode 1 – 18th March Episode 2 – 01st April Episode 3 – 15th April Episode 4 – 29th April
12. An Extra Challenge Students should use their mobile phones to produce, edit and upload their content to their channels Students can use other recording methods but students are expected to justify the production decisions they make in their production portfolios.

Assessed Coursework 01 The project proposal, storyboard and production schedule will reflect: The aims of your project and your expected outcome The narrative structure (chart and storyboard) The theories and influences that have informed the development of your project idea Project management skills, including structuring tasks, prioritising, showing initiative and delivering work on time

Other web 2.0 services can and will be used such as but students are required to use these services professionally and represent themselves in a professional manner in these spaces.
