It has a large presence in across UAE and sees impending growth across the Middle East region including areas
such as Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to CHAIRMAN and managing 11 stores & 1 Distribution Center.
In charge of retail operations and logistics & distribution for the UAE & MIDDLE EAST – Currently managing retail
space of 200,000 sq feet & warehouse space of 80,000 sq feet.

Started my carreer in Landmark Group in April 1998 at Dubai & worked in various departments like Accounts &
Finance, warehousing and logistics and retail operations.

In charge of retail operations and logistics & distribution for the UAE – Managed a retail space of 150,000 sq feet
with 35 stores & warehouse space of 120,000 sq feet.
Key Achievements till date:
 Saved AED 240,000 in 2006 by shifting multiple warehouses to a new location in house instead of
out sourcing the same. Ensured that there is no delay in operations due to the same.
 Has consistently ensured significantly higher warehouse efficiency for deliveries to stores (Greater
than 99%).
 Increased return per Sq Ft in retail stores significantly through space planning (around 25% to
40%).
 Implemented inward scanning to significantly improve stock documentation at retail stores – This
was the first time such processes were implemented in the Group.
o Have consistently led the Projects team to open new stores/ complete renovations in existing stores
within strict time deadlines.
 Ensured all stores are monitored through the BOE (Barometer of Effectiveness) process and
satisfactorily meet all critical parameters of store operations.
 Overseas Experience : Helped set up new operations in Egypt, troubleshooting teething problems in
both retail and warehouse functions.
 Projects : Guided the projects team to successfully open 8 new stores within a period of four years
within stipulated time deadlines - The most recent major store was opened in January 2011 in
Dubai Mall.

 Regular Mystery shopping reports generated for all stores and feedback given to Store Managers/
