1. Femto Application Client (resides in femtocell or femtomodule)
Implements the “local” application logic
Connects to home devices, synchronizes with Application Server, traverses
home firewalls, sets up local communications, provides data format and media
conversion/handling, etc.
2. Optional Network Application Server
Adds a network portion to the application
Provides service orchestration, network application business logic, convergence
with other services, remote access, security and authentication, service
backend, accounting, service management, manages provisioning and updates,
etc.
