Christmas Eve dinner traditionally consists of 12 dishes. Tradition requires that
Christmas Eve dishes are meatless. They are actually quite healthy because they contain
mainly fish and vegetables.
Easter
Easter Sunday in Poland is celebrated with an Easter breakfast. Easter breakfast consists
of the foods blessed on Easter Saturday as well as other traditional Easter foods. It is
typically a family-oriented occasion when hard boiled eggs and cold meats like sausages
are eaten.
Fat Thursday
It is the last Thursday before the Lent and the last day of carnival.
