2.  MARKET ANALYSIS:
 Key benchmark indices edged higher in choppy trade after Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar rejected
Trinamool Congress' (TMC) no-confidence motion against the government on its decision to allow
foreign direct investment (FDI) in multi-brand retail sector. The Lok Sabha Speaker said that TMC did
not have the numbers to move the no-confidence motion.
 The BSE Sensex was up 48.15 points or 0.26% to 18,508.53.
 The S&P CNX Nifty was up 10.55 points or 0.19% to 5,625.35.
 From the 30-share Sensex pack, 16 stocks rose while the rest of them fell.
 Coal India rose 0.14%. The Ministry of Railways today, 22 November 2012, said that Indian Railways
has loaded 274.72 million tonnes during April 2012 to October 2012 which is 10.2% more than the
coal loading in corresponding period of last year. State Bank of India (SBI) rose 1.86% on bargain
hunting after recent losses. Among other PSU bank stocks, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank
of India, and Bank of Baroda gained by between 0.38% to 1.65% Tyre shares gained across the board.
Apollo Tyres, JK Tyre & Industries, MRF and CEAT rose by between 0.51% to 3.05%.
