Chana futures up 0.31 pc on rise in demand.
Chana prices rose by Rs 13 per quintal in futures trade as
speculators enlarged their positions, driven by pick up in
demand in the spot market. Slow sowing due to a delayed
harvesting of summer-sown crops in some states supported
the buying. At the National Commodity and Derivatives
Exchange, the Janauary contract chana for delivery in January
rose by Rs 13, or 0.31% per quintal, with an open interest of
 Trading tip: 79,000 lots.
Sell Castorseed Dec Jeera futures may trade lower on sluggish demand
Below 3430 Jeera futures are expected to trade lower as demand from
domestic buyers is sluggish. Also, as per the trade source, the
TGTS-3410/3360 sowing is expected to gain momentum in the coming days.
