In het Engels gebruik je de Past Simple als iets helemaal
afgelopen/voorbij is
Vaak staat één van de volgende woordjes in de zin (waitly-woordjes):
• when (I was six)
• ago
• in (1999)
• then
• last
• yesterday
3. Hoe zet je een ww in de Past Simple?
Er zijn regelmatige ww en onregelmatige ww.
Een onregelmatig ww vind je op blz 168/169 in je boek, je neemt de
TWEEDE vorm
Een regelmatig ww krijgt ed.
Spelling: medeklinker+y ied
bijv. worry he worried
korte klinker + medeklinker medeklinker verdubbelt
bijv. stop they stopped
