RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
JOHN DEERE East Moline, IL
Hydraulics Design Intern June 2016- August 2016
• Developed circuit design for the hydraulic components and performed simulation for the circuits to using
Automation Studios
• Created new engineering designs and drawings with the help of CAD software that utilized air compressor
feature to aid in cleaning the multi-coupler prior to coupling.
• Cross-reviewed designs with internal customers and suppliers to make the product easy to manufacture and
customer friendly
• Analyzed and tested the Air Compressor designs to meet the requirements.
• Communicated with people globally in order to develop concepts into designs.
• Collaborated with a diverse 12-member team to analyze and design a new Multi-Coupler that reduced oil leaks by
25% and prevented contamination from penetrating.
CUMMINS Pune, India
Process Intern June 2015- August 2015
• Proposed ideas to increase the efficiency of the factory line
• Evaluated and addressed the safety concerns of 5 machining cells of a robotic arm.
• Pioneered a team of 5 interns to carry out an affordable to reposition connecting rods on high speed conveyor
belts
• Studied the design and functioning of BFW machine and the industrial robotic arm.
PSU ADVANCE VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY University Park, PA
Fuel System Project Lead Fall 2016- Present
• Re-positioned the fuel filter and E85 sensor from the top of the intake manifold due to space constraints
• Modified the filler neck design on CAD system for ease of the removal and sealing
• Worked with the veterans to understand their decisions on the fuel tank design
• Modified the fuel tank design to level the top surface of the fuel tank
Exhaust and Drive Shaft Project Volunteer Fall 2015- Spring 2016
• Adjusted the design of dual exhaust pipe and changed it into a single pipe that would work with a LTG engine.
• Planned the changes in the design of the driveshaft used with the V6 engine to make it work with V8 transmission.
• Facilitated the designing of the drive shaft and adjusted its dimensions to proper fit.
• Built the design of the powertrain using Siemens NX software and tested it’s positioning.
DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE DROP RESEARCH University Park, PA
Research Assistant Fall 2015-Spring 2016
• Designed and constructed a thermal fluid exchanger that enhanced the mixing of a two phase fluid.
• Fabricated the apparatus for testing the pressure drop flow rate from 0-1m on the Brass tube
• Estimated the correlation between pressure drop and flow rate and used it to test for the complex geometry of
the Heat Exchanger.
