9. Image As you can see from Trey Songz album cover and music video, he is a sex image. He makes a lot of music to do with sex which syncs in perfectly with his image because he attracts a humongous amount of female attention and to go with his songs, talent he also is in shape (in terms of his body). Trey’s image is very unique star persona, because he stands out from other artist vibrantly. Evidence of this would be on his video ‘I invented Sex’ and also ‘Neighbors Know my Name’. In these two video he is almost having intercourse on the set of the video, and there are directors there. He also recently made a song called ‘Massage’ and every time he performs that song live he picks a beautiful lady from the crowd and gives them a massage. This all conforms to being a very strong sex image.

13. The shot then cut to a depth of field shot showing the text ‘gotta make it’ showing the name of the song, this shot also shows a bedroom setting with a picture of a couple in the background which at the moment is blurred however it then draws into a clear imagel

14. The shot then changed angles by using a fast cut to show what looks like a bedside dresser with an alarm clock and the picture of the couple in the background of this shot.

The angles then changed by another cut the shots shows the back of the alarm clock with Trey songz in the background in a depth of field shot, also in this shot there was a some text which says ‘staring Trey songz’ this states the name of the artist, this is shown while he happens to be in the background of the shot, at this point the music begins to play, suggesting that it is coming from the alarm.

The setting around this shot shows an old house with old pieces of garbage around suggesting that the house is a little run down or the down side to the problem which might be featured in the video/or behind the lyrics,

19. There was the a quick flash of scene all shot in a mid shot showing trey waking up, and a quick shot of his girlfriend next to him.

23. The shots the did another quick cut showing how Trey made the family happy by giving him the present this was shown as the lyric said ‘just gotta make it’ suggesting the family aspirations of having a good life.

24. Then there was split screen of trey walking some where, and looking at someone, the person happens to be him but rich, however after a few seconds we realize this was a dream and the person Trey was looking at wasn’t Trey.

25. At the end of the video there was a tilt on to a black screen showing a happy Trey suggesting that everything went good for him and his family.
