Such as, the religion of the community, the food, the music, a certain vegetables and so on. No one is sure of how festivals started, but festival is an history of any certain occasions. Lovebox might have started to be a dance festival but later other musical genre such as indie, rock, world and pop, even circus performers , cabarets and fringe act was included. History MFY Music for Youth was founded in 1970, with the aim of providing young people with an opportunity to perform live in a supportive and non-competitive environment, regardless of their ability. The first event staged was the National Festival, which took place on 10 and 11 July 1971 at the Lyceum on The Strand. The festival was developed over the years it introduce a nationwide series of Regional Festivals to underpin the whole Music for Youth programme. This then open access approach resulted in a massive increase in entries for the second National Festival, held at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon in 1972. In 1981 the National Festival moved to London's South Bank Centre and remained there until 2005 when the Festival moved to Birmingham. Over the last forty years Music for Youth has been showcasing the diverse and energetic mix of musical styles created and performed by young people. Every Season they work with 100,000 performers and audience; 1,300 music leaders and over 70 venues across the UK. They want to be able to get more young musicians performing and they are committed to providing performance opportunities for the next generation of the UK's musical talent.
33. La Tomatina History The most common festival in Spain is called La Tomatina. It is a food festival that is held every year on the last Wednesday of august, in the town of bunol in the Valencia region of Spain. It is known that Tens of metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets in exactly one hour. The festival are open to only men and women. The festival is a week long that includes music, parades, dancing and of course fireworks. It is known that on the night before the festival begins, the partaker of the festival will compete in a paella cooking contest. The tradition for this is that women are to wear all white and men are to wear no t-shirt. The festival started in the 1945 but was only officially recognised in the 1952. The festival is known to be in honour of the town's patron saints, St. Louis Bertrand (San Luis Bertràn) and the Mare de Déu dels Desemparats (Mother of God of the Defenceless), a title of the virgin Mary.
