2. Mise en scene
-Props:
I will be using props for my final moving image. I will use props such as a black car for the
men to drive, folders and books for the girl to carry, a bag for the girl to carry and a lighter
for the girl to give to the man.
-Location:
The location for the filming of my final moving image will be set somewhere gloomy and
deserted. Such as a dark alley way, as the girl will be walking down there when she gets
attacked by the men. Alley ways are stereotyped to be places where people do get
attacked, so this will make the audience think the girl will be attacked if she walks down
there.
-Costume:
All my characters will be wearing different costumes to match their character they are
playing. For example, the girl will be wearing a school uniform, this is so she is seen to be
looking young and still in education. Dressing like this she will also be seen as an easy target
as young girls are vulnerable.
The men who kidnap her will all be wearing black and have their faces covered. This is so
they look scary as the colour black is linked with danger. Also if they cover their faces this
means they don’t want to be seen or recognised, so they are stereotyped as looking
dangerous or they are about to do something bad.
3. Font intiles
• The font intiles will most likely be something like these:
• (FONT INTILES, FONT INTITLES, FONT
INTILES, FONT INTITLES, FONT INTITLES,
FONT INTILES.)
• This is because these font styles are assumed to be linked with horror. This will
make the audience think that this film is intense and scary. It may also make the
audience want to watch more.
4. Soundtrack/effects
• -Soundtrack:
For my final moving image piece, I will use sound that causes a scary effect. This will
make the audience think that it’ll be scary and build up the suspense. I will also build
up the sound of the music as it gets to a scary part in my moving image piece.
• -Effects:
For my final moving image piece, I will add in effects to build the suspension more.
This is so the audience can feel what’s happening and what’s about to happen. I will
add effects to make my scenes more gloomy, dark and mysterious.
5. Cinematography
• -Editing:
For my final moving image piece, I will add editing to create a dramatic effect. This will
ne things such as sound effects in the background to make scenes seem more intense.
For example, high pitched noises when the girl is grabbed by the man, and when she
gets closer to the man down the alley the music gets faster.
• -Narrative:
• Narrative is all about camera angles. For my final moving image piece, I will use
camera angles such as match on action to show the suspense, 180 degree rule to
show the characters looking at each other, and shot reverse shot to show the
characters individually.
