1. Las Vegas Sands inaugurates Sheraton Macao Hotel, the
second phase of the integrated resort Sands Cotai Central
Macao, 26 September 2012 – The integrated resort Sands Cotai Central ® has
officially opened its second phase with the opening of the hotel Sheraton Macao. Las
Vegas Sands Corporation, the company that just named Madrid as the location
where they could develop their project in Spain, has celebrated the opening of the
resort, just a month after the fifth anniversary of The Venetian ® Macao and of the
Cotai Strip ®.
The Sheraton Macao Hotel is inspired in Polynesia, it is the largest Sheraton hotel in
the world and the largest in Macao. The first of the two towers, Sky, has just been
opened to the public and the second one, Earth, will be opened in early 2013, then
the hotel will have 3,896 rooms. This opening is also a milestone in the history of
Sheraton, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.
The addition of the Sheraton Macao to the integrated resort Cotai Central Sands
implies that Las Vegas Sands complexes in the Cotai Stip soon will jointly have 9,000
rooms, a very significant boost in Macao’s hotel capacity, in line with the status of
business center, tourism and leisure that the city has acquired in the recent years.
The Cotai Strip has experienced the birth of a series of integrated resorts after the
opening of Sands Cotai Central and its sister properties The Venetian Macao and
The Plaza Macao, which together create a unique and innovative experience, with a
wide variety of business and leisure services. The Sheraton Macao, located in the
center of the resort, offers its guests access to all the entertainment, shopping,
restaurants and conventions.

The great Kashgar hall of the Sheraton Macao is almost 4,900 square meters of
open space, with capacity for 5,000 guests, and can be divided into 16 parts
soundproofed. In addition, Sands Cotai Central resort has three smaller rooms and,
with the upcoming six more that Sheraton Macao will open in 2013 along with the
second tower, events and congresses organizers will have access to 20,000 square
meters of convention space.

2. The Sheraton Macao offers a new way to enjoy the city. The hotel will feature the
world's largest Sheraton Club, which includes a number of exclusive amenities and
services for its members. With 570 rooms and suites located at the top floors of the
towers, the Sheraton Club offers its members access to the Lounge Club, full buffet
breakfast, cocktails, free Wi-Fi and also free use of the pool cabanas.
Customers who want to take care and relax will be able to enjoy at the Shine Spa for
Sheraton, which offers a unique relaxing experience with treatments inspired by the
Chinese zodiac and the principles of balance of the Feng Shui. The hotel also
features a fully equipped vanguard gym. Families will love the children's program,
which includes a wide variety of activities divided by age and supervised by
professionals.
The Sheraton Macao also offers a shopping world at the Shoppes Cotai Central,
which will soon be connected with the rest of shopping areas Shoppes Cotai, giving
customers access to 600 shops and restaurants in the same area.
