ITV1 has an age range from around 25-35 years old, due to the types of programs it shows

 Type of programming
The majority of dramas on itv1 are period drama set in the early 20th century, programs such
as Downton Abbey and Poirot. However there is also many modern detective dramas and
soaps, it also shows football so this draws in a wide range of audiences.
Agatha Christies Poirot
Agatha Christie's Poirot is a British television drama that aired on
ITV from 8 January 1989 to 13 November 2013. David Suchet stars
as the eponymous detective, Agatha Christie's fictional Hercule
Poirot. Initially produced by LWT, the series was later produced by
ITV Studios. In the United States, PBS and A&E have aired it as
Poirot, which was the title of the programme in the UK prior to
2004.
At the programme's conclusion, which finished with Curtain, based
on the final Poirot novel, every major literary work by Christie that
featured the title character had been adapted.

Whitechapel is a British television drama series produced by Carnival
Films, in which detectives in London's Whitechapel district deal with
murders which replicate historical crimes. The first series was first
broadcast in the UK on 2 February 2009 and depicted the search for a
modern copycat killer replicating the murders of Jack the Ripper.
A second series was commissioned by ITV in September 2009 with the
focus on the Kray twins. The first episode of this second series was
broadcast on 11 October 2010.
A third series was commissioned by ITV in March 2011, which was
extended to six episodes as three two-part stories.

 Audience
The target audience for BBC3 is 16-34 year olds

 Type of programming
The channel mostly shows dramas that appeal to young people, but they are of different
genres the majority being comedy shows and similar genres as the target audience is young
people.
Being Human
Being Human is a British supernatural drama television series. It was created
and written by Toby Whithouse for broadcast on BBC Three. The show blends
elements of flatshare comedy and horror drama. It originally starred Lenora
Crichlow as Annie Sawyer (a ghost), Russell Tovey as George Sands (a
werewolf) and Aidan Turner as John Mitchell (a vampire) — all of whom were
sharing accommodation and attempting as best as they can to live a "normal"
life and blend in with the ordinary humans around them. In the third
series, Sinead Keenan became part of the main cast as Nina Pickering (a
werewolf). In the fourth series the ensemble was joined by Michael Socha as
Tom McNair (a werewolf) and Damien Molony as Hal Yorke (a vampire). The
fifth series added Kate Bracken as Alex Miller (a ghost). The first two seasons
were set in Totterdown, Bristol, and the third season onwards relocated to
Barry, Wales.

In the Flesh
In the Flesh is a three-part BBC supernatural drama series which began
airing on BBC Three on 17 March 2013. The show was created and written
by Dominic Mitchell. It is set after "The Rising", this show's take on a
zombie apocalypse, and focuses on re-animated teenager Kieren Walker
as he comes back into the local community.
A second, extended series of the show has been commissioned, to be
broadcast in 2014. As yet, it is unknown how many episodes the new
series will comprise, but it is believed it will be five or six.

E4
 Audience
The target audience for E4 is 15-35 year olds.

 Type of programming
E4 has a target audience of 16-30 year olds. Broadcasting comedy programs such as misfits, and other
dramas that appeal to a younger audience such as skins.
Skins is a British teen drama that follows the lives of a group of teenagers
in Bristol, South West England, through the two years of sixth form. Its
controversial storylines have explored issues such as dysfunctional
families, mental illness (such as eating disorders), adolescent
sexuality, substance abuse, death and bullying. The show was created by
father-and-son television writers Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain for
Company Pictures, and premiered on E4 on 25 January 2007. The show
went on to be a critical success as well as a ratings winner within its target
demographic. Over its initial six-year run, Skins proved to be atypical of
ongoing drama series in that it replaced its primary cast every two years.
Plans for a film spin-off were first discussed in 2009, but ultimately did
not come to fruition. Instead, a specially-commissioned seventh and final
series of the show was broadcast in 2013, featuring some of the cast from
its 2007–10 run.

Youngers
Youngers is a British comedy drama series created by Benjamin Kuffuor
and Levi David Addai. It began airing on E4 on 20 March 2013. It is
produced by Big Talk Productions.[1] The series has been picked up for
international distribution by BBC Worldwide.
The series follows a group of south-east London teenagers aiming to
become the next big thing on the urban music scene
