“At first, the idea of doing away with the biggest USP of the HTC One (M8) – its 90 percent uber-premium metallic body – and replacing it with a polycarbonate shell felt absurd, but our experience with the E8 begs to differ. The phone has its own distinct style and offers flagship-level specs at a more affordable price point than its sibling. However, it still faces stiff competition from the Samsung Galaxy S5, thanks to its slew of price cuts, as well as the Oppo Find 7a.”
