Dan Street is the CEO of Loku, a company that analyzes large amounts of data to learn about local tastes and recommendations. Loku has analyzed 180 million mentions of local places and can process 100,000 local web pages per minute. Their techniques using big data, machine learning, and geotagging are successful, with metrics like low customer acquisition costs, high repeat usage, and long customer lifetime value. Street provided an overview of Loku's technology and funding history and invited the audience to contact him if interested in a beta trial of Loku's services.
