designed by Apple Inc. as the successor to iOS 7. It was announced at the
company's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 2, 2014.

As photo collections grow, so does the desire to store them all safely and
still access them whenever and wherever. That’s where the new Photos app
and the new iCloud Photo Library come in.

In iOS 8, Messages has fun, useful, even surprising features that will change

messages by holding down the record button.

The Health app gives you an easy-to-read dashboard of your health and
fitness data. The new tool for developers called HealthKit, which allows
the incredible health & fitness apps to work together for you.
10. Continuity
Continuity allows users to share e-mails and websites over Wi-Fi. This
feature also allows users to reply to text messages and answer phone calls
from their iPhone on their Mac or iPad.

Spotlight now gives you suggestions from Wikipedia entries, places nearby,
trending news, and more. It’s even smart enough to recognize context and
location to offer you the most relevant information.
12. Touch ID
For the first time, you’ll have the option of using Touch ID to sign in to
third-party apps — there’s no need to enter a password. Your fingerprint
data is protected and is never accessed by iOS or other apps.
