3. 1. Introduction.
The RFEF is the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It is the governing
body of football in Spain.
It organise the National Championship ‘La Liga’
It also is join the FIFA, UEFA and COE. And it manage the Spanish
national football team(men’s), women’s, youth national football team and
Spanish futsal team.
It has its headquarters in Las Rozas (Madrid).
2. History.
It was born in 1913 and it replaced the Spanish Federation of Football
Clubs which was formed in 1909.
The first Spanish team was the Deportivo of Huelva.
Later the Barcelona, Vigo FC, Real Madrid and other football team was
added.
In 1920 Spanish team participated for first team in an Olympic games in
which Spain got the third position. These games were celebrated in
Antwerp.
The RFEF had it headquarters in Madrid but in 2007 it was moved to Las
Rozas (Madrid)
3. Important Football Players.
• Ricardo Zamora Martínez (Barcelona, 21 of January in 1901-8
of September in 1978)
He was an international goalkeeper of Spanish team in the first third of the
20th
century.
In his honour, the Zamora trophy was created in 1959.
When he finished his career as football players, he was an excellent
trainer and after as worker in the RCD Español football team.
He is considerate one of the best player in the world.

• Fernando José Torres Sanz (Fuenlabrada, Madrid, 20 of
March in 1984)
He is a Spanish football player; thank him Spanish football team won the
Eurocup of 2008. He is join Mata, the only Spanish football player in the
history in win the World Cup, Eurocup, League Eurocup and the League
Championship.
Now he plays in the Chelsea F.C.

He is a Spanish football player, thank him Spanish won the South Africa
World Cup.
Now he plays in the Barcelona football team.
• Iker Casillas Fernández(Madrid, 20 of May in 1981).
He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He is a Spanish football

She is the best female football players in the world. She was the maximum

• Luis Aragonés(Hortaleza, 28 of June in 1938-Madrid 1 of
