For the distribution of my media product and help the marketing of related products, I
would use a media institute such as Universal Pictures, a company well known for its
action films; for example, Fast and Furious franchise which was released in April
2009 which was and has been one of the most popular and best selling franchises in
the film industry.
Universal Pictures is one of the largest media conglomerates in the film industry who
can produce its films and distribute it using several smaller companies which they
own to boost the popularity of their products through the selling of related produces;
for example, after the 2 Fast 2 Furious was released in released in June 2003,
Universal sold the right to the vinyl designs of the star cars a smaller subsidiary
which they made over half a million dollars in the sales of thetwo Mitsubishi vinyl’s
alone.
A company such as Universal Pictures would be perfect for my product as it would be
able to produce the film and handle the marketing and advertising of the product as
well, producing items such as sound track, games, toys and costumes attracting a
younger audience outside of the target audience which would further expand the
audience. Also, as I have said, being a company famous for its action films, my
product would be given a good view from the start just by being associated with
Universal, it would almost ensure that the product would be reaching theaudience.
Also reviews of the film can be published through magazines such as empire which is
read by hundreds of people which would attract a bigger audience
